The web.de has been removed from the list of blacklisted domains for a trial period following successful communications with one helpful user. Should no e-mails get bounced from this domain and if I get no complaints from users of web.de about missing registration e-mails, the domain will remain off...

I have to admit, I was attracted by the ad too - other employers should take note!

web.de domain blocked - * now unblocked *

As it say's in the FAQ, some domains are "blacklisted" by my site as no matter how I try, e-mails sent to the blocked domains are bounced. web.de is blacklisted by my site as any e-mails that are generated by my domain are bounced after several SMTP retries and therefore users who sign up with web.d...

Hi Dan, Thanks for your kind comments. You're not the only one to have inquired about rank positions within teams. It does cause some confusion when comparing my Seti Classic and Seti BOINC graphics as the former does display a user's ranking within their team in comparison to my BOINC counters, whi...

It's in the alpha stage at present and the authors don't want the URL of the project's home page advertised at present unfortunately.

Hi,

I am always on the look out for new BOINC projects and will add them providing that they provide XML stats and that the project is public.

Thanks for pointing out the Lattice Project - I also have my eye on another project which is currently in the alpha stage.

Neil.

Class job ad

I came across this job ad in a well known computing newspaper.

Hi Andy,
Now all ya need is a shed load of members!
Indeed!

We'll see how it goes.

I'm hoping that the BOINC forum may ease the number of e-mails I get ;-)

Neil's To-do-list

Here's the following enhancements that I am either currently working on, or may implement in the near future. They're in no particular order of importance. 1 - All-In-One Team graphic - Done! 26/12/05 2 - Overall rank No longer being considered 3 - Display rank changes (+/-) No longer being consider...

FAQ - read this first before posting a question

The FAQ will be steadily updated. For now, here's a few FAQs that I get asked constantly: 1. Why are my stats not up to date? The BOINC counters rely on the XML stats provided by the various BOINC project's web sites. These stats are merely snap shots of the projects' databases. As such they are nev...
