Re: Translation view
I have added the features - let me know what you think. Typo alert: Switch to vertial layout = Switch to vertical layout. Could both of the columns scroll (right and down) independently of each other? Also, I'm not sure of this, we will have to ask the other translators, but it might be easier if t...

Translation view
Hi Neil,
For version 2.0.5, would it be possible to have the translation screens next to each ohter, instead of the original on top, translation below it? Especially with large FAQs this is very difficult to do, whereas if they sat side by side, it would be a tad easier.

Re: Additional languages
I think I see a problem. All "Windows links" like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC Data\ show without the backslash! Like C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataBOINC Data I have now fixed one FAQ to get it to show them correctly, but that would mean I'd have to g...

Re: Additional languages
I tried linking to the pictures from the server, Neil, but then they break. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/Ageless/BOINC/FAQ/BOINC5/Install5-2-accept.png shows OK. http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/resources/Install 5-2-accept.png does not show. I know where the problem lies though and will send...

Re: Additional languages
Weirdly enough... Now the Czech part shows it is UTF-8, while all the others show they're ISO-8859-1, so somehow you managed it.

Re: Additional languages
I set my browser to use UTF-8 and it didn't seem to break any of the other languages.
I think you can try it, Neil.

Re: Discussion about merging faq with BOINC website
Perhaps once that Wiki is out of its infancy and is on a reliable server. Seeing that every time Trac is down, the Wiki has similar problems. I'm also not seeing any multilingual attempts yet, so that would mean we (read me) would have to go set it up. As for that, are you also striving for the othe...

Additional languages
Hi Neil, I am on the look out for people who can write Spanish and French for the BOINC FAQs. Already asking a couple of people through PM if they are interested in any way. Could you add the languages to the BFS already, please? @everyone, if you're interested, let us know. Either through here, or ...

Re: Support for April/May 2008
Although we haven't officially been told by our new ISP that we are connected or received their free router, the green Internet light on my Netgear router was flashing when I got home :D It's probably only a test. Tomorrow you'll be without it again until the 5th. ;) Nothing happened here. I could ...

Re: Add creationtime/date and modification time/date
That's all right, Neil. Move house first. Make sure you don't break any of her stuff and don't run into too many (pre-marriage) quarrels and fights over nothing.
See ya on the flip-side.

Add creationtime/date and modification time/date
Hi Neil, A good idea I got from Sekerob over at WCG. Could you add to the FAQs their creation time/date and separately show when they were last edited? I know it'll be difficult to add to some of the existing FAQs, but new ones could take the implementation immediately, while all the old ones use th...

Notice for BOINC FAQ mods
I am about to throw the FAQs into disarray, by adding a couple more Categories and changing some FAQs places.
Please keep an eye out for the translations. See if they transfer to the correct category.
I'll start doing this on Saturday or Sunday.
