Hi,

The project does not provide XML stats, so I can't add it to the site :-(

First of all, HELLO to you all :)

I just joined the TANPAKU project from a test machine, running BOINC v4.45 for Windows. Seems to work fine, but of course it would be awesome if the project posted stats so I could more easily keep track of them.

Does anyone know anyone who knows anyone who can handle Japanese, and could gently *kick* them to move onto version 5 of the server? ;)

Simple they are not yet exporting xml stats in gz format
So, this directory is emply

However they do have stats see ...
http://issofty17.is.noda.tus.ac.jp/top_ ... tal_credit
their message boards is not working as well

On last line of it there is a link to email tanpaku

So, u best bet is e-mailing them
and u dont need to write this way
3月11日(土)、12日(日)の2日間、東京理科大学のネットワーク工事のためTANPAKUサーバに接続できない状態になります。ご注意ください。
Plain english can be used. try to be clear. english is not their native idiom

Dear Pfitzner,

Thank you for joining "TANAPKU" project and useful comments.

We changed the deadline for a longer time (about 3 hours).
We also would like to recommend that you chage the parameter of "Connect to
network about every" of general preferences to more smaller value from here
(http://issofty17.is.noda.tus.ac.jp/home.php).

The message boards will be available soon.

Thank you again for your kind cooperation.

Yours sincerely,

Tadashi Ando

With such a short deadline I will go no where near to the project until it sorts those out, but saying that I may just stay away completely plenty of projects on the same topic as it is

Tanpaku is upgrading the server to BOINC 5.x version so maybe, soon, the directory for XML stats will not be empty.
