Account Activation Now Required

Dear all,

Following the recent spat of spam, I have had no choice but to resort to account activation by moderator approval.

Therefore, with immediate effect, all new accounts will have to be approved by me first.

Any accounts created that appear to be suspect will not be activated.

As always, there's a small group of people who have to spoil it for the rest of us.

If you have signed up for an account and are awaiting activation, please be patient!

No worries - my mistake for not removing the web.de domain from the ban list when I moved hosts.

I have now removed moderator approval for new registrations to see how things go now that the level of spam has decreased significantly.
