Seems to be a lot of doubt about the algorithm they are using too (i.e. does it even work!). Not fussed to be honest, it's a quick and easy milestone but beyond that I don't suppose folk will stay attached for long ;)

FWIW, the project is closing down in a few days: http://androinc.net/forum_thread.php?id=44

A few days left for those that want to grab a milestone ;)

Dear Neil,

Please add Scaling Laws in Cluster Aggregation (SLinCA) at http://dg.imp.kiev.ua/slinca/

Cheers
Philip

P.S. Just for record purpose, AndrOINC (http://androinc.net/) has not been closed down because voluntary contributors agree to donate its running cost.

Hi Philip,

Thanks for the info, the project has now been added.

Also, I noticed the other week that the Androinc project was going again, so it's stats are being updated by my site.

Cheers,

Neil.

Interesting project: "The goal of DNA@Home is to discover what regulates the genes in DNA. ..."

Stats available.

Hi Neil

Sometime ago, you mentioned AndrOINC project and its stats are being updated by your site. But it seems that we cannot add it to our project list. Any chance to include it despite its rather disputable target?

Cheers,
Philip

Hi Philip,

I've never added AndrOINC to the site. I'm still not sure it's the best project to add due to its goal.

If there's a big enough demand, then I may add, but I'm still not sure I agree with its aims.

Cheers,

Neil.

Having said all that, I notice that BOINCStats.com have added it so, I'd better keep up with the competitors I guess...

New project:

http://moowrap.net/

Moo! Wrapper

Moo! Wrapper brings together BOINC volunteer computing network resources and the Distributed.net projects. It allows BOINC Client to participate in the RC5-72 challenge.

Note: It's a GPU only project.
