Re: joystick settings
Hi again, I've now got six button control pad support working for Picodrive as well. 1) Create ~/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retroarch-core-options.cfg with the following contents: picodrive_input1 = "6 button pad" picodrive_input2 = "6 button pad" 2) Add to ~/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retro...

Re: joystick settings
Hi, Although I couldn't get Picodrive to work with a six button controller, I was able to get GenesPlusGX to work. Here's how.. 1. Create a file called /home/pi/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retroarch-genesisplusgx.cfg with the following contents: # enable 6 button control pad layout input_libretro_device_p1...

Re: joystick settings
Hi, Sorry my suggestion didn't work, I'll try to find some time to test on my Raspberry Pi with 6-button Genesis/Mega Drive games. On the four player front it very much depends on whether the emulators support it. For example, PicoDrive mentioned earlier, only supports two players. I did raise an is...

Re: joystick settings
Hi, Welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you enjoy using PES - it's always nice to hear feedback from users. 1) I hadn't considered this before - I forgot that 6 button control pads existed for the Mega Drive/Genesis during its life time. I've not tried this yet, but according to other web sites this...

Re: New projects
At some factor prior, you referenced Andr OINC venture and its small print are being refreshed with the aid of your website online. After all, it seems that we are not able to add it to our venture list. Any opportunity to include it despite its rather questionable goal Hi, The AndrOINC project die...

You can apply a fix to your PES 2.4.1 installation to address this issue until PES 2.5 is released.

Unable to download cover art etc.
Dear all, In January theGamesDb.net which I use to get cover art etc. for games in PES removed their "legacy API". As a result PES is unable to download cover art at the moment. I am working on integrating their new API into PES but it is going to take me a little while. All being well, th...

Re: PES 2.4 released
Hi Dammon,
Usually, yes as new versions tend to include the latest fixes etc.
For example, 2.4.1 includes an update that includes a new URL to download cover art from theGamesDb.net.
If you do not make use of the cover art then you do not need the 2.4.1 update.
Hope this helps,
Neil.
