was i too wide or too thin?...now if you could only fix my weight...i would like to lose 30 pounds. I had failed to add sanity checking code to the new team stats graphics to check the width of the credit. I have since added such code to ensure that the width of users graphics is wide enough to acc...

Hi,

Do you mean having access to each computer's stats on their desktops?

If so, at present this is not possible as I do not collect data about individual hosts due to the amount of work involved and the extra space that would be required on my server.

It's an interesting idea though.

Hi,

Thanks for pointing it out - I forgot to update the mirror scripts with the two latest projects to be added to the site -> LHC Alpha and BURP.

I have now applied a fix and updated the mirrors (2 still to be done though).

Do you need a permanent connection to the Net ? i don't think but i ask. No problem also if the machines are under ICS or behind a proxy ? The Internet connection does not need to be permanent, as the widgets get their data when they start-up. They will of course need to "phone home" now ...

Hi Nightbird,

Following your query in the other thread I have added the task of allowing users to sort their stats to my to-do-list.

I've also noticed a width bug in dan_burr_michel's graphic - must fix that too!

Cheers,

Neil.

Hi,

All users projects are ordered by credit totals, with the highest first.

If you like, I can add the tasks of adding a sorting feature to the site?

The applets work independent of the BOINC client as they get their stats from my site instead. So you can get your stats on any computer you like, so long as it has a working Internet connection.

Konfabulator widget released - version 0.91

Hi all, Following on from a previous thread about display user's BOINC stats on your desktop, I have been working on both a Konfabulator applet for Windows/MAC OS and a SuperKaramba applet (theme) for KDE. Both allow you to create interactive widgets on your desktop. I have started work one for each...

Hi, For me, I get a white box whatever options I choose. I believe it's due to my mirror system. When a request for a graphic is received, a mirror is randomly chosen. When this happens, a header redirect request is sent back to the browser to tell it to load the appropriate mirror. I suspect that A...
