Re: Loss of connection?
This moment the problem's back. I can log in, but can't go anywhere, as as soon as I click FAQ Admin, I end up at an empty page.
Looks like database trouble or a connections problem. These (forum) pages load very slowly as well.
Edit: of course, just seconds after I complain it does all work.

Re: Boinc at Windows Server 2008/64Bit
If that's not a domain controller, any new version.
If it IS a domain controller, then you need to call back upon http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_5.10 ... x86_64.exe
See http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Release_ ... ontrollers as to why.

Loss of connection?
Hey Neil,
When I edit FAQs, I lose the connection with the database. End up with completely blank pages.
The FAQs that I did save do show up later on as being edited, but it's a bit disconcerting. Probably the heat.
You heard anything?

Re: BOINC & Seti off line for 24 hours
Warning: Tonight from 20.00 hours UTC the Berkeley Campus will have another 24 hour scheduled power outage. This will mean that [email protected], Seti Beta and all of the BOINC domain will be off line again during that time period.

BOINC & Seti off line for 24 hours
Due to major electrical upgrades at Berkeley campus, a couple of buildings will be without power. One of the affected buildings houses both the Seti and Seti Beta projects, which will be off line for 24 hours due to this work being carried out. This started around 20.00 h UTC. Since the BOINC server...

Re: New web site - BETA testers required!
Right... the colours have been changed back to the old scheme and you will now only get one scroll bar. I think it looks better already. That is a lot better on the eyes. Even though now I could use some bright colour waking up scheme, it being 6.15am, me needing to go places in an hour and not loo...

Re: New web site - BETA testers required!
I know what you mean about the blue bars - think I may go back to the subsilver theme, but keep the layout. They might mellow a bit if the background wasn't that hard white. Doubtful though. I like the layout, though it is a long scroll to the bottom. Remember that option I asked for the FAQs? Perh...

Re: New web site - BETA testers required!
The bright blue bars are still visible for me wherever I look. Do you plan to give away Ray-Bans on activation of this site? ;) Just me, I know, but I hate bright blue bars combined with a further white site. Anyway, on to debugging. Do you really want two vertical scroll bars? One for the "news" pa...

Re: Could use [quote]
Oh yes, I like that. I've always found the green text difficult to read, while the wrapping of the code boxes made them look somewhat awkward. Go on then. What's keeping you?

Re: Create my own boinc project
No, you're in totally the wrong place here. Please make an account on the BOINC Development forums and post it in the API forum. That should be the closest, although I'll probably check it there when you have posted it. I'd also suggest you subscribe to the BOINC Dev and BOINC Projects email lists. ...

Re: Could use [quote]
Thanks, works great. Good use of the alternate background colour. Makes it stand out.
Now I wonder if the code tags shouldn't get that same background colour.

Re: Could use [quote]
Might be useful as well.
If possible though, do not make text inside the quote italicized. I hate it when that's done as it makes stressing certain parts that more difficult.
Thanks.
