Re: Asteroids and CPDN Marked as Inactive?
As Asteroids has been down for maintenance for a few days I assume that the stats weren't exported, and hence it's been flagged as inactive. CPDN rarely exports stats, so again I guess it's been flagged as inactive. Unless they've fixed the export mechanism of course, but somehow I doubt it ...

Re: New projects
Thoughts? It is to provide funding for science projects and not for personal gain. I don't see it as being wildly different from the Donate@home project which is already listed here. But like I said, it's probably not for everyone. To me it's quite interesting as it's the first (AFAIK) bitcoin ...

Re: FMAH Eventual New Name Will Be FIND@Home
I believe the new site is for interested parties to search the results produced from FMAH rather than a new URL for the existing project. It's just the final phase in making the crunched data available to everyone.

Same as Freehal, CNTP, Androinc, RS, UCT MC, 3x+1, Anansi, Tanpaku, Skynet Test, Goldbach, Ppot Tables, BCL, ABC Beta and I'm sure many others.
Wouldn't worry about it. Even if those ones get bodged there will be other projects snuffing it in future and needing fixing.

New Project: Chess@Home
http://chess.qugate.org/
Long description on the home page of the project that I won't repeat here.
Short workunits, but with a tight deadline making this project a bit tricky to make work nicely along side other projects.
Stats available in the usual place.

Al.

Re: Skynet Test screwed up
Not sure why you haven't been able to login to the forum as it has been working ok :-S Didn't seem to like my password. Tried a few others which then triggered the captcha question which I couldn't answer  Oh, those restored Skynet Test stats are a little out of date and seem to be missing ...

Skynet Test screwed up
Looks like nobody else has noticed, but the Skynet Test project loaded an old production Skynet backup a few days ago, so the stats being exported from there are garbage. You need to roll back to a cached version as I believe the Test project won't ever come back to life, and the current stats are ...
