Re: [email protected] - a disaster

I haven't been able to update their projects for quite some time.

It would appear that one of my sanity checks has been preventing their stats from updating.

Cheers,

Neil.

Re: [email protected] - a disaster

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in replying. I see the stats are still a bit whacky?

Any news from the project?

As far as I can see I'm not updating any GoofyxGrid projects at present.

Cheers,

Neil.

Re: "PES Starting..." Stuck loading, what's missing?

Thought I'd share a status report...

PES GUI: Working (version 2.8)
Vice Emulator (standalone C64): Working
Kodi: Working
Retroarch: compiled but very poor performance - trying to work out why

Re: "PES Starting..." Stuck loading, what's missing?

I've now been able to repeat the issue. It would appear that since the Raspberry Pi 4 has been released, the ArchLinux Arm site has now produced a separate Raspberry Pi 4 image rather than using the Raspberry Pi 2 image (as advised originally). I will therefore have to create an image from scratch f...

Re: "PES Starting..." Stuck loading, what's missing?

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to report the issue. You're the second person to report this issue with the Raspberry Pi 4 and PES. I'm currently tracking this issue here: https://github.com/neilmunday/pes/issues/41 I've managed to get hold of a friend's Raspberry Pi 4 so I can test PES 2.7 myself - ...

Re: [email protected] stats are not updating

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

It would seem that for some reason the LHC user XML dump has at least one duplicate user entry. This was causing my update script to fail as a result.

I've modified the script to handle this situation and now the LHC stats are updating again.

Cheers,

Neil.

Re: joystick settings

Hi again, I've now got six button control pad support working for Picodrive as well. 1) Create ~/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retroarch-core-options.cfg with the following contents: picodrive_input1 = "6 button pad" picodrive_input2 = "6 button pad" 2) Add to ~/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retroarch.cfg: core_optio...

Re: joystick settings

Hi, Although I couldn't get Picodrive to work with a six button controller, I was able to get GenesPlusGX to work. Here's how.. 1. Create a file called /home/pi/pes/conf.d/retroarch/retroarch-genesisplusgx.cfg with the following contents: # enable 6 button control pad layout input_libretro_device_p1...

Re: joystick settings

Hi, Sorry my suggestion didn't work, I'll try to find some time to test on my Raspberry Pi with 6-button Genesis/Mega Drive games. On the four player front it very much depends on whether the emulators support it. For example, PicoDrive mentioned earlier, only supports two players. I did raise an is...

Re: joystick settings

Hi, Welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you enjoy using PES - it's always nice to hear feedback from users. 1) I hadn't considered this before - I forgot that 6 button control pads existed for the Mega Drive/Genesis during its life time. I've not tried this yet, but according to other web sites this...
