I've translated it into Spanish. In parts the red is the wrong red, I've already seen typos and the links are missing. If David or Logan can look at it I'd be very grateful because I don't want to see another tilde or acute accent until the Feast Day of Santiago of Compostela 2009.

Don't worry, Jorden, I haven't abandoned it!

I've adapted all of them. It's this red, the top left one of the bottom block. For the other red I used the one below it. For the blue, it's the blue on the second block, top right, second row.

As for the link to the BOINC 6 installation FAQ, you can link to the English one as the installer will only show it in English. Just follow my lead in Dutch, where I point people to the English step-by-step manual on how to install BOINC. It has all the same screens. (but for one... ;))

Logan is now around amd says he's cleaned up my translation. Before I look at his improvements I'm going to see what's happening about the French and whether I need to contact Maurice. If necessary I'll tackle the French version but I'd much prefer Maurice to do this.

Todo sobre BOINC 6

Not sure if that's true as it isn't all about BOINC 6, just the main points. But I am content with its name.

I edited it so the links to other FAQs/forums always have the alternate color. This stands out against the black text.

Jorden, would it be a good idea for your English FAQ to have bright links at the top saying 'Op Nederlands' or 'Deze informatie op Nederlands' and 'Aquí en español' or 'Esta información en español'? Plus links to other translations as they are added.

This would take people straight to a translation instead of them having to click on a flag then search in section 3. Most probably wouldn't even know which section of the translations list to look in.

You'd have to get the Dutch right of course, not just copy one of my unresearched suggestions.

Good idea and I had planned for it. Will do that tomorrow. I've still got time. :)

I've done the French translation and published it:

http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?language=4&view=446&sessionID=611ff11ebd7e6208157c4a97c4fccea5

Jorden, you could now link to it from the English version.

I couldn't get the translation links to display in blue (only the dashes are blue) but I'll experiment somewhere else to see what I've done wrong and come back to it.

OK, here's how I do it:

Code:
[url=http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?language=1&view=376][colour=#4040FF]anglais (English)[/colour][/url]

I also take out the session ID number as it isn't necessary. It points towards the FAQ without it just as well and gives whomever looks at it their own session ID. I have already adapted the links in the French FAQ so they have the colour. By the way, adding underscore code isn't necessary as the links are underscored already.

Thanks for fixing that. I originally put the colour tags round the entire translation links section, but now realise that was wrong because the dashes shouldn't have colour added. Each link needs separate colour tags.

For all, I have added a bit about the multiple selections in BOINC manager in English and Dutch. Completely forgot about that one, so gotten used to it. ;)
